During summer 2013I spent two weeks at Il Faro language school and really enjoyed my time there.
Laura and Liviana were extremely welcoming and helped me so much throughout my stay in Caorle. My Italian improved enormously as the classes were very small which meant that they felt very personal and I always received lots of help if I didn't understand. The school also ran lots of trips for me to learn more about Italian culture and the history of the town which were very enjoyable and meant that I got to know the other people at the school more as well as practice speaking in Italian. I would definitely recommend studying at Il Faro, I had a great time there and learnt so much!

Ich habe vom 17.09.2012 bis 28.09.2012 an einem intensiv Sprachkurs der Sprachschule IL Faro in Caorle teilgenommen. Die Sprachschule IL Faro liegt wenige Minuten vom Strand und dem Stadtzentrum entfernt. Während meines Studienaufenthalts habe ich in einer Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand gewohnt. Die Ferienwohnungen der Agentur "adriamare" kann ich weiter empfehlen. Die Sprachschule wird von drei Lehrerinnen geleitet. Die italienisch Kurse werden ausschließlich in italienischer Sprache unterrichtet. Dies fördert einen zügigen Lernfortschritt. Das Studienmaterial wird von der Schule bereitgestellt. Die Hauptsaison in Italien endet im September, was sich auch an der Anzahl der Studierenden bemerkbar macht. Ich bekam deshalb Privatunterricht bei Frau Liviana Cechet. Es waren noch zwei weitere Studierende aus Kanada an der Schule. Sie wurden in einem anderem Kurs unterrichtet. Täglich wurden Hausaufgaben aufgegeben wie z.B. Grammatikübungen. Diese wurden am nächsten Tag besprochen und in einem Gespräch verbessert. Ich kann diese Sprachschule wärmstens empfehlen. Die Lehrerinnen sind außerordentlich engagiert. Die Schule bemüht sich auch den Studierenden die italienische Kultur näher zu bringen. Es werden wöchentlich Stadtführungen und Sight Seeing Touren organisiert. Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit in Caorle und zudem war es mir möglich innerhalb kurzer Zeit sehr große sprachliche Fortschritte zu machen.

Wendy fa l'insegnante d'italiano in California da più di 30 anni. Tiene anche corsi su Dante, Petrarca e Boccaccio.
Ogni anno accompagna un gruppo dei suoi studenti -tutti adulti- in Italia per un corso di studio, in un bel posto dove ci sono tante bellezze da ammirare.

Prima però di scegliere la scuola, frequenta lei stessa un corso di perfezionamento di una settimana… se il corso la soddisfa, l’anno seguente il suo gruppo frequenterà quella scuola.

Come potete vedere dalla foto il corso l’ha soddisfatta e abbiamo avuto l’onore di ospitare queste simpatiche ed energiche signore.

I studied at Il Faro for one month this summer and had an amazing experience. I'm an Italian major at a university in California, and I was looking for an Italian language school for foreigners so I could keep up with the language during the summer. Attending Il Faro was the best decision I could have made! Caorle is a beautiful beach town near Venice and a perfect place for anybody to learn Italian. I have previously attended different immersion programs in Italy, but those didn't even come close to the experience I had at Il Faro. One of the many great things about this school is that the owners, Liviana, Laura, and Barbara, teach the classes. With the guidance of Il Faro, I stayed at a wonderful hotel where the owners became like family to me. The Sunday market, live music in the town center, bicycle excursions to nearby towns, and the view of the sunset from the boardwalk are just a few lasting memories of my summer in Caorle. I can't wait to go back to and visit the wonderful ladies at Il Faro!
