Grazie a Voi, John e Vanessa, è stato un vero piacere conoscervi...a presto!

Vanessa Paschakarnis e John Greer sono una simpaticissima coppia di bravissimi scultori, che ci hanno fatto visita quest'estate! Vanessa è stata una dei due vincitori della quarta edizione del nostro concorso letterario un dito nell'occhio: ha vinto proprio con  un racconto che parla di scultura "la raspa diamantata"...leggetelo!

I had a really good time with all of you guys.
 you guys are always very considerate, warm hearted, and patient. I always enjoyed all the moment with all of you.
There is  a very good atmosphere in the school, all the school mates are kind and I like to sip coffee with all you guys after the lessons, thats  a very good opportunity to practice Italian in a good way.
Now I do miss all of you guys very much, hope to see you guys in the next summer.

Die eine Woche, die ich gebucht hatte, hat sich als zu kurz erwiesen, weil die Bemühungen und die Umsicht unserer Lehrerin Liviana so toll waren, dass die Tage im Nu vergingen und das Lernen Freude machte. Trotz der Vielschichtigkeit der Teilnehmer ( in unserer Gruppe waren neben einer Russin, einem Franzosen, einer in London lebenden Deutschen auch zwei Österreicher, davon war einer ich ) ist sofort freundschaftliche, familiäre Atmosphäre entstanden, die durch den Kaffehausbesuch aller Teilnehmer und der Schulleiterinnen während der Pause noch gefördert wurde. Zusammenfassend möchte auch ich daher, in leicht abgewandelter Form ( ohne Pluralis 

majestatis ), die oftmalige Aussage von Kaiser Franz Josef zum Ausdruck bringen:´´ Es war sehr schön, es hat mich sehr gefreut!´´

My friend Galina and I spent the beginning of September in a very cute town called Caorle in Italy, studying Italian in a wonderful Italian language school IL FARO Caorle - Venice

I would like to thank my Moscow school - http://italian-klub.ru/ - and my teacher Svetlana for improving my knowledge of the Italian language. Svetlana recommended that I should attend an Italian school where Italian was taught by nature language speakers. That’s why I chose this place and school. 

I would like to thank my dear friend Galina for sharing my company and for our happy Italian vacation. Grazie, cara Gala!

Of course I do thank my nice teachers Laura and Liviana from Il FARO Caorle who made our Italian lessons pass very quickly with a lot of fun and laughter. It was really a wonderful experience. The group consisted of the people from different regions of the world (Austria, Australia, Canada, GB, Germany, France) and it was fantastic that I could understand everybody. And Laura made us speak Italian much more fluently. Thank you Laura and Liviana for your good teaching and hospitality! I wish we could visit your school again asap. Hugs and kisses to you both from Russia And best regards to Barbara!

I would highly recommend this school and place to those who want to pass their vacation on the sea coast and improve their Italian at the same time!

Il Faro: una piccola scuola de « rêve »! 

Ho avuto due “maîtresses”... che si sono occupate di me. 

« Maitresse » significa anche : insegnante, maestra di scuola, state tranquilli!

E' difficile tradurre in italiano, i giochi dei francesi. Sono riuscito a fare perdere ogni tanto a Liviana la sua seria professionalità. E prometto di provarci ancora l’anno prossimo. Spero di rivedervi tutti la primavera prossima.

Raphael, l'inglese dal Belgio

Sono Raphael Smith, sono di origine inglese, e studio l’inglese e l’italiano a Gand in Belgio. Il mio soggiorno a Caorle durante un mese è stato una grande esperienza, per cui voglio ringraziare cordialmente le insegnanti della scuola Il Faro. Sia le insegnanti sia gli studenti sono molto gentili e c’è un’atmosfera molto distesa. Mi ci sentivo veramente a mio agio, avevo il sentimento di andare da amici piuttosto che andare a scuola. Allo stesso tempo ho imparato molto: ho fatto dei compiti di conversazione e scrittura, e ho imparato molti vocaboli, tutti su argomenti molto interessanti che non si guardano spesso (oppure affatto) all'università. Inoltre ho, per tutto il tempo, avuto l’opportunità di parlare la lingua con la gente nativa, il che è un’esperienza inestimabile che purtroppo non c’è a casa, neanche veramente all'università. Caorle stessa è una bellissima piccola città di mare che è bella e tranquilla di giorno e gradevolmente vivace di sera, che mi è molto piaciuta. Tutto è stato un’esperienza preziosa e gradevole che consiglio veramente a tutti quelli che vogliono imparare o migliorare l’italiano.

Ich habe im Sept. 2014 einen einwöchigen Kurs in der Sprachschule "IL FARO" absolviert.
Die Unterrichtsstunden mit Liviana waren vergnüglich, die Wiederholungen nützlich und wichtig, Neues wurde gut erklärt. Wir waren zu fünft und ich habe mich in der Gruppe sehr wohl gefühlt.
Besonders angetan war ich vom Engagement der Lehrerin,die sich sehr um das Wohlergehen aller bemühte. So war sie bei der Beschaffung der Unterkunft behilflich und dabei sehr geduldig, an den Nachmittagen stand sie für Unternehmungen zur Verfügung (Stadtführung durch Caorle, Fahrt nach Portogruaro, Bootsfahrt durch die Lagune...)
Resümee: Eine Woche war zu kurz, trotzdem habe ich sprachlich profitiert.

I had recently attended the school IL Faro in Caorle. I would highly recommend this school for beginners through to advance speakers. The teachers spoke in italian through and through to encourage our confidence in speaking the language. I have never spoken as much italian in London as I did in Caorle. It was a wonderful experience and I would urge those who are keen to learn italian and progress to try this school. 

Thank you once again to all the tutors and for taking us to the historical sites for the guided tours. Certainly a trip I will never forget !

Mein Aufenthalt in Caorle an der Sprachschule „Il Faro“ war für mich eine einzigartige und interessante Erfahrung, die ich keineswegs mehr missen möchte.

Ich habe an dieser Schule ein Monat lang den Italienisch-Kurs besucht, und währenddessen in einer italienischen Gastfamilie gewohnt. Mit dieser Familie hatte ich sehr großes Glück, denn sie haben mich mit offenen Armen aufgenommen und mir einen einzigartigen Einblick in das italienische Leben gewährt.

An der Schule „Il Faro“ habe ich mich sogleich wie zu Hause gefühlt, da eine familiäre Atmosphäre herrschte, die es uns ermöglichte, sowohl zu entspannen als auch intensiv an unseren Italienischkenntnissen zu arbeiten. Unsere Professorinnen wussten auf jeden Einzelnen von uns einzugehen und nahmen Rücksicht auf unsere individuellen Bedürfnisse und Interessen. Im Italienisch-Sprachkurs war alles inkludiert: wir frischten unsere Grammatik-Kenntnisse auf, erweiterten unseren Wortschatz und erwarben Sicherheit beim Sprechen. Da ich in meiner Freizeit gerne schreibe, war ich erfreut über die Möglichkeit, meine Schreibkompetenzen durch die umfangreichen, aber freiwilligen Hausaufgaben zu verbessern. Außerdem konnte ich umgehend mein Allgemeinwissen erweitern, da unsere Themenbereiche sehr vielfältig waren und bis zu Kunst und Literatur reichten.

Auch sehr gefallen haben mir die Pausen zwischen den Unterrichtsstunden, die wir täglich fröhlich tratschend in einem Café verbrachten.

Neben den sprachlichen Aspekten hat mir die Schule aber auch die Möglichkeit geboten, interessante Leute aus aller Welt kennenzulernen, mit denen ich über die eine von uns allen geliebte Sprache kommunizieren konnte: Italienisch.

Wenn ich auf das Monat in Italien zurückblicke, fehlen mir die tollen Leute, die ich dort kennenlernen durfte, mir wird aber auch bewusst, welche großen Fortschritte ich in der Zeit in Italienisch gemacht habe. Ich bin „Il Faro“ sehr dankbar dafür!

Christa: la nostra stageuse dalla Germania

Ich hatte die wunderbare Gelegenheit, ein sechswöchiges Praktikum im Sprach- und Kulturzentrum IL FARO zu machen und damit eine großartige, unvergessliche und einmalige Zeit zu erleben. Die beiden Leiterinnen Liviana und Laura sind unkompliziert und herzlich und die Atmosphäre ist geprägt von Freundschaftlichkeit und Vertrauen. Durch die unterschiedlich besetzten Kurse war es möglich, Kontakte zu Menschen aus aller Welt aufzubauen und in diesem multinationalen Umfeld den eigenen Horizont auch in kultureller Hinsicht zu erweitern. In dieser kurzen Zeit lernte ich Menschen aus aller Welt kennen: Tschechien, Kanada, Frankreich, Belgien, England, Deutschland, Österreich, China, Russland, Australien und Indien. Wir waren wie eine große Familie, wobei sich die Zusammensetzung wöchentlich änderte. Die täglich stattfindenden Intensivkurse und der intensive Sprachkontakt mit Laura und Liviana, aber auch mit den jeweiligen Kursteilnehmern förderte die Sprachfertigkeit und die erhebliche Erweiterung des Wortschatzes. Der freundschaftliche Umgang miteinander innerhalb der Kurse und während der gemeinsam verbrachten Zeiten in Form von Ausflügen und Treffen gewährleistete eine angenehme, jedoch auch sehr effiziente Lernatmosphäre, die meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertraf. Die Schule, die Region Venetien und speziell der Ort Caorle mit seinen langen Stränden, seinem historischen, wunderschönen Stadtkern und seiner Geschichte, ebenso wie die Menschen, mit denen ich zu tun hatte, haben einen unauslöschlichen Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen. Vielen Dank an zwei fantastische Lehrerinnen für die tolle Zeit!!!

Hello Liviana, hello Laura, please forgive me for not writing to you in Italian, it would take about three times as long, and I am a bit under pressure, timewise. The urge to send you a 'thank you note' is very strong, though, and I want it to reach you sooner rather than later.

I had an absolutely wonderful time with you last week, useful and instructive as well as entertaining, and the atmosphere you manage to create is truly admirable. I feel that I have been among friends, and I do hope that I will be able to repeat the experience next year.

Good luck for this week and for the future of the school.

Ho passato due settimane a Caorle. Con la mia famiglia sono andata in vacanza in un posto di mare, di sole, con il bel tempo (in giugno!). La spiaggia e il lungomare sono indimenticabili! Durante le mie vacanze a Caorle ho fatto un corso di lingua italiana alla scuola "Il Faro". Era molto importante per me studiare e parlare italiano in Italia con gli italiani. Ho incontrato insegnanti molto simpatiche e disponibili. Mi sono piaciuti il corso e la città Caorle. Ci sono tante cose da fare, le mie preferite: fare passeggiate ed usare il mio italiano. Dopo la vacanza ed il corso di italiano posso dire di essere  innamorata dell'Italia e della lingua italiana! Tornerò lì! Senza dubbio!

The school is not big but very professional in terms of organisations, communications and teaching. We particularly appreciated the flexibility in adjusting lessons to our needs and wishes. The coffee in a cafe after the morning lessons to chat and practice Italian is a nice extra. And the owners, Liviana and Laura, are so nice and friendly to deal with! We hope come back for another week or so in the future!

Je prends enfin le temps de te remercier pour les très agréables journées passées "Al Faro" cet été. J'ai éprouvé un plaisir double: celui de perfectionner mon niveau d'italien et celui de profiter de vacances dans la jolie station balnéaire de Caorle. Je recommande vivement cette expérience dans l' ambiance chaleureuse et cosmopolite du Faro. 

Ton professionnalisme et ta bonne humeur engendrent un plaisir d'apprendre tout naturel partagé avec les élèves de différents pays. Je garde un également un excellent souvenir de nos pauses café journalières au Caffè Luciana avec toi, Laura et les élèves! Grazie e cari saluti!

L'estate scorsa ho passato un mese bellissimo a Caorle, facendo il corso d'italiano alla scuola IL FARO. Nel mio gruppo non c'erano più' di 5 studenti (a seconda della settimana). La professoressa faceva sempre attenzione a tutti gli studenti ed era sempre disponibile nello spiegare argomenti e temi che non avevo mai trattato. Anche dal punto di vista personale si e' mostrata sempre molto gentile e aperta al dialogo, mi ha aiutata fornendomi informazioni per muovermi bene nella città' e tante altre cose che bisogna conoscere quando si e' in una città' nuova.

Inoltre la scuola ha organizzato alcuni viaggi: al villaggio dei pescatori, Gorizia e Venezia. E' stato bellissimo conoscere la storia e la cultura dell'Italia, particolarmente quando raccontate e spiegate da persone preparate e appassionate come erano le nostre professoresse. 

La città' di Caorle e' un posto perfetto per una vacanza, c'e' tutto: il mare caldo con la spiaggia lunghissima, tantissimi ristoranti della cucina italiana, caffetterie e gelaterie, la gente e' simpaticissima.

Un corso d'italiano al IL FARO e' solo da consigliare!

During summer 2013I spent two weeks at Il Faro language school and really enjoyed my time there.
Laura and Liviana were extremely welcoming and helped me so much throughout my stay in Caorle. My Italian improved enormously as the classes were very small which meant that they felt very personal and I always received lots of help if I didn't understand. The school also ran lots of trips for me to learn more about Italian culture and the history of the town which were very enjoyable and meant that I got to know the other people at the school more as well as practice speaking in Italian. I would definitely recommend studying at Il Faro, I had a great time there and learnt so much!
